About us
A truck, a toolbox
and a straight answer
We are not a chain. Boothes Mobile Mechanics LLC is a mobile repair business out of Garnett, where the person who answers the phone is the one who shows up and does the work.

What sets us apart
Repair that does not
feel like a sales pitch
The idea is simple: fix what is broken, say what can wait, and do it where the vehicle already is. Whether it is a commuter car with a lot of miles, a family SUV or the farm pickup that has to run tomorrow, the approach is the same.
What people say about us is not the price. It is that we tell it like it is, only do what needs doing, and explain why. That is the business we want to run.
- We explain instead of upsell
- We only do the work that is needed
- We say so when a repair is not worth it
Why mobile
The shop comes
to the vehicle
Boothes Mobile Mechanics is a truck full of tools, not a building with a waiting room. Brakes, batteries, belts, no-starts, diagnostics and maintenance get done where the vehicle already sits — in Garnett and the counties around it.
- No tow truck, no ride to arrange
- You see the work
- A quote before a wrench turns

How we work
Four things we
do not compromise on
These are what customers come back for. None of them is complicated. All of them are rare.
Real tools
A truck set up for mobile work: scan tool, testers, torque wrenches, jack stands. Not a toolbox in the trunk of a car.
We show up
When we say we will be there, we are there. If the day runs long, you get a call, not silence.
Straight answers
If it can wait, we say so. If it needs a shop, we say so. If it is not worth fixing, we say that too.
The customers
Commuters, families,
farms and fleets
Garnett and the counties around it are full of people who need a vehicle to work and no spare day to drop it at a shop. That is who we built this for: the commuter heading up to Ottawa, the family with one car, the farm with three pickups and a van that all need looking after.
We are grateful for the trust, and the plan is to keep earning it the same way — one driveway at a time.
- Cars, pickups, SUVs and vans
- Private owners, farms and small fleets
- Anderson County and the surrounding counties

FAQ
Frequently asked
questions
Can't find the answer? Call or text (785) 000-0000 and we'll sort it out on the phone.
What is a mobile mechanic?
A mechanic who brings the tools to the vehicle instead of the other way around. Boothes Mobile Mechanics is based in Garnett, Kansas, and does repairs, maintenance and diagnostics in your driveway, at your workplace or on a job site — no tow, no shop visit.
Where can you work on my vehicle?
Anywhere it can sit safely on reasonably level ground: a driveway, a parking lot, a farmyard, the shoulder of a quiet road. Gravel is fine. A steep slope or a busy highway shoulder is not, and we will tell you if a spot will not work.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Garnett and cover Anderson County and the surrounding counties — Ottawa, Iola, Paola, Osawatomie, Burlington and the towns in between. Not sure if you are in range? Call. If it is within about 40 miles of Garnett, we can usually make it work.
What does it cost?
It depends on the job and the parts, so we quote it before we start — including any travel. You will never find out the price from the invoice. If we find something else while we are in there, we stop and ask before doing more.
What vehicles do you work on?
Most makes and models of cars, pickups, SUVs and vans — domestic and import. Work trucks and farm pickups are a big part of what we do. If you have something unusual, describe it when you call and we will tell you straight whether it is a job for us.
Do you bring the parts?
Yes. We source parts for the job and bring them with us, so most repairs are done in a single visit. If you already have parts, mention it when you book — we will tell you whether we can use them.
What if the repair cannot be done on site?
Some jobs need a lift or a press, and we say so up front rather than fight it in your driveway. We will tell you what we found, what it needs and where to take it, so the next step is clear.
How do I book?
Call or text (785) 000-0000, email [email protected], or send the form on the contact page with the vehicle, where it is and what it is doing. We will come back with a time and a quote.
